Aaron T. Driver,
Owner of Cork & Saber and Sommelier
Aaron has been in the fine wine trade for over 15 years and has worked in many roles from Winemaking, to acting as a Beverage Director of fine dining restaurants, to a lead Sales Manager of an iconic Napa brand. Aaron has been associated with Grand Award winning wine lists from Wine Spectator and has also been considered a leader in the wine industry being most recently a "40 Under 40" Nominee and Finalist by the San Diego Business Journal. His passion for bringing rare and fine wine to collector's and introducing classic wines to the next generation of wine consumer's is what has made Aaron one of the most sought after concierge wine broker's in California.

He lives in North County San Diego with his wife, Meredith, and their two children, Barrett (4) and Madeira (2).
Meredith Pieratt-Driver,
Co-Owner of Cork & Saber & Creative
Meredith is the Mrs. to Driver Wine Company, LLC and although she is newer to the wine industry, she has an extensive resume in events. Meredith started her career in New York City as an Entertainment and Fashion Publicist working the red carpet with film and media giants. After 6 years as a successful publicist she moved back to CA where she met her husband, Aaron (the Mr. to Driver Wine Company, LLC). Meredith is a multi-award winning professional, most recently a three-time nominee and finalist for the San Diego Business Journal’s-Women Who Mean Business Award. Meredith has also been nominated and is recognized in the 2020 Marquis Who's Who publication. She is excited to learn about wine from some of the best in the industry and bring a fresh approach to exploring wine of all varieties and its history--all while learning the stories that cultivate the culture of these special bottles.
Meredith is a graduate from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Theatre with a double emphasis in Film and Directing for the Stage and a minor in Mass Communication and Media Arts.

Joshua Orr, Master Sommelier,
Cork & Saber Consultant
Master Sommelier Joshua Orr lives and works in San Diego, CA. He began his career as a floor sommelier in Las Vegas at B&B Ristorante and Fiamma. Once he had moved to San Diego, he had the privilege to be the Wine Director for the San Diego Marriott Marquis. Where he created an award-winning wine program that is still one of the most diverse in San Diego. He passed the vaunted Master Sommelier exam in 2019 and was also the winner of the United States Top Somm competition in 2014. Wine, for him, is first and foremost a passion and unending curiosity and then a job second. When he is not managing sales for the importer, Broadbent Selections, he is chasing his two little boys (Brady, 6 and Cameron, 2) so his lovely wife Megan can rest for a moment.
Cork & Saber for me represents the next step in the evolution of retail and specifically online retail. Their focus on family run wineries and telling each wine’s unique story speak to what drew me into not only this business but wine in the first place. It is exciting to see endeavors like Cork & Saber emerge as this is how wine’s stories should be told and I am excited to be a part of that.
